Zoe`s Request!

Managed to get a few shots this morning, but need to get some sleep. So enjoy!

Twins, 12 hours old.

Below is the Orphan pens. Not as bad as it sounds, most of these, are as a result of Triplets, Mother can only manage two, so we rear these away from the herd.

  2. Awww how cute. I used to share my field with sheep. The Grandfoal was most disgusted with her other granny for sending a sheep that the Grandfoal had hand reared to market. "It hadn't done anything wrong" she sobbed.

  3. These pics are flashbacks to my youth. I had a small flock of sheep raised from "orphans." Lambing time was always exciting. Thanks...And Zoe is the name of our dog, a Miniature Pinscher.

  6. I love when you post (and explain) about the sheep. I would have worried about those orphans. I got a cushy cover for my iPhone and I'll do my best not to drop it. Thanks for the heads up!

Triplets are quite common, we have around 60 ewes with triplets on board yet to be born.
