BFLWM again! How do they do it? Its a little after 10am here, and of course its persisting it down! No! Dont say anything, just let me rant!
I seem to be going through bales of hay like there is no tomorrow, and no doubt, according to the Mayan calendar, there wont be! So another day is a total wash out! And I took two days off work, (legitimately) to get some riding in!
Anyway, I could always finish the painting? That is, the Tack room is getting a make-over! From Yellow, to the more clinical White!
Did you notice the red book on the Sideboard? ………..
This is the bit I have got done.
And this is the bit that needs doin`! Ah well, better get on with it!
See ya!
Red seems to be a preferred accent color for you- good choice of red and white.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Gracie will let you ride with an umbrella?
Thankyou Shirley! I thought so too!

ReplyDeleteSup, painting buddy! I'm painting kitchen cabinets - it'd be more fun to be painting a tack room, I think! Hope the rain stops before you all float away. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Funder! Yep, been a little painting buddie today! All done now, must`nt touch the door frame!!lol
ReplyDeleteLooking good! I like the white. And what is that little red book? I was waiting for a close up picture.
ReplyDeleteI`m glad you asked me that Annette!

Groundwork, by Buck Brannaman. Took me ages to get a copy!

The red/white looks awesome. You can come do mine next ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad you've already said what the book is because now I can just nod and look knowledgeable.

ReplyDeletePatsy, its a horsey thing! but thanks for the kind comment!
Your Tack room looks very comfy and a nice place to hang out. I love your Sideboard...at least what I can see of it. Darn rain, I'm trying to work up some sympathy for you... but I'm feeling to sorry for myself right now:)I'm sick of the snow and gray skies. Hope you get some sunshine soon.
ReplyDeleteWhite sure looks better than the yellow. i like the chair in there, looks comfy.
ReplyDeleteIt is really comfy! When the stove is on, its great to sit and clean tack, or read a good book!
ReplyDeleteYou have a side board in your tack room...la te dah!!! Must be for when you serve tea after a long ride? ;~)
ReplyDeleteNo!:-) Its where my whisky supply is!Lol A place of refuge, must have some comforts for a man!
ReplyDelete"Did you notice the red book on the Sideboard?"
ReplyDeleteNo, but I noticed the rocking chair. I always knew you had class, Cheyenne. As for that red book... you ain't been on This is Your Life, have you?
Thanks friend! That there rocking chair was a gift from my great Uncle I. Kea, he`s long gone now.
