Summing Up!

Remember all those logs? Well?   They`re still there! Thing is, I got time to slice up the big trunks today, and also the other big limbs. Got myself  few loads stacked, and was surprised to see, that I hadnt really made much of a dent in the pile!  Still, a start has been made, and with  the help of Dichlophenac, I should manage the rest!
Gotta say those little brown pills certainly take the pain away!  So does drink, but I wouldnt recommend  that with chainsaws!!
On another matter, 25th Feb, sees the start of the horse sales. This one is at Kirby Stephen, a small market town in Cumbria, formally (Cumberland & Westmorland!)
Lets see? What else is on the cards?   Oh yes!  The weather is improving slightly, warmer with a nice breeze. But, the BFLWM says its to get warmer still!  I`ll believe that when it happens, cant trust the BFLWM !

Anyway, back to work tomorrow, awwww!  But no, it has to be done, I will be retiring on or around the 31st March 2014, yes Sir! Thats the date, one for the diary, I`m getting the wine and beers in now, so I should have a few for a party!  God help the wife!  She`s dreading it, me home all day?   Poor lass! Lol!!!!!

The ground is drying up, the mud is only up to our horses pasterns now!

  5. BFLWM = Really not very accurate weather man? I agree, still it does seem quite a bit warmer than it was over the weekend.

  9. Hi Shirley, we are staying at the Lonesome Spur Ranch near Billings.
Or is it nearer to Fort Bridger?

  13. I think I said this already. You will like that area of Montana. You should be in sight of the Absaroka Mtns, as well as other ranges nearby. In Billings, there's a Will James collection at the Art Museum. Little Big Horn is off to the east from Billings and worth a visit if you can.
