Well! It had to happen! Following on from the last two days of wash a scrub my mucky equines, new rugs etc. Today was Charley`s turn, but first take Sunny back to the field and let her “run”! So here is a before and after shot of her.
New clean rug, clean legs etc????
But wait! Less than 30 seconds later!
Plastered from head to hoof! Whats the point I ask myself!!
Gracie was just as bad!
Ah well, at least they`re protected!
At least you won't have to brush the mud off anywhere but legs! Th blankets look like a good fit, staying in place even after rolling .
ReplyDeleteTrue!!Lol........They are 6`9inch rugs, no padding, but rain and wind proof. These lot wear through the rugs by the spring, mainly across the front piece.
Deletetough with so much wet to keep any one clean it looks
ReplyDeleteIt is, getting worse too.
ReplyDeleteNice blankets!! My favorite color too. ( b4 it turns into pinto brown)
ReplyDeleteWe usually would have joined you ny now in the rugging up .
Pinto brown eh? Sounds a touch mucky!! Having to rug `cos of the continuous rain!
DeleteI am so glad we dont have near that much rain, I try not to blanket at all, but with riding and competing in winter its just too much hair otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI`ve come to that decision myself, too much cleaning every time I wan to go riding, So rug `em!
DeleteThey love to be dirty!! Mine, too.
ReplyDeleteAre`nt they just dirt lovers!
