Flood Warnings!!

Today, is  the day after, the day before. How do I know this?  Because ………….It rained again today, yes I know!  I keep going on, but it seems that nature has us here, in its eternal Westerly grip. Constant Low pressures keep running in, swamping the area here. We have another Flood warning out again, must be the umpteenth one this year. So there I was today in the rain, feeding the horses, each got a good helping  of Oats. I dont normally feed horses Oats, but I have taken to doing it, with this wet miserably cold atmosphere, it gives them some heating within.

Charley, he likes to get his head in the bucket, mainly `cos the new addition, there on the left of the group of three, is a complete bully!  But for some reason, not to Sunny or Gracie. So I feed Charley by himself. (Aww Poor chap!) I took this shot when there was a lull in the precipitation. Filled all the hay ricks and watched as they licked the troughs clean.   It was dark early today.

This shot was taken last year, so nothing has changed, except new rugs!   God its a complete mess here. Still it could be worse??????

  1. It could indeed- you could be under water instead of sinking in mud.... but let's not go there!
