Need I say more?
The rain was so bad, I have had to change the “waterproof rugs” on all the horses!!!!!!
We have had around 3 inches of rain in the last 24 hours, and its still raining now, flooding all around us, the water came in the back of the house again, down thee hill, and made a house call!
Oh no... I am so sorry... but we need it over here so badly! I hope you won't have a soaking Christmas! At least the horses are getting a mash.
ReplyDeleteIts incessant! constant rain. You can have all of it my friend!
DeleteUgh. Poor you. I hope it hasn't got right into the house. My village is cut off tonight.
ReplyDeleteYep, its pretty well inside the conservatory and starting to make its way into the kitchen. Fortunately I got hold of an old pond pump, and its keeping up with the water!!hope your ok tonight!
DeleteWow that mud is incredible. I have lots of water in my field, human couln't even push her barrow through it tonight but I don't have the mud you have.
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty bad, but there is no where else, the rest of the field is soaking, so are all the others? So there is nothing I can do, if I bring them in, they dont like staying in, and then fetlocks swell. Its a no win situation.
ReplyDeleteSorry you're dealing with so much water! We just got a bunch of snow here. Neither one is fun to deal with.
ReplyDeleteIf the truth be known, we`d rather have the snow!Lol! At least you can always build a snowman!
DeleteWe feel your pain... there is so much rain and mud, there has never been a year like this, even the old humans say so! Hope your house is ok, sending you good luck, dry weather vibes, if you get some can we have some in Devon too please?
ReplyDeleteWell, if there is dry weather, you can have some, but according to the forecast, Saturday is to be as bad!
DeleteYuck! Looks like over here. We have been getting tons of rain. Should be snow, but it's not cold enough. I am so sick of mud!
ReplyDeleteHi Allison, it seems to be the same in a few places, must be a plot!!
DeleteWe got a lot of moisture too- of the white kind! But we had our share of that mud- no thanks!
ReplyDeleteYikes that's a lot of mud, come on over here in a few days and I'll show you some snow. I guess I'll say it again. After looking at your posts of the mud.....I'll take the snow.We don't get a lot of mud here, we live on an old gravel pit so pretty good drainage....however this Spring we had a fair bit of mud that lasted for a long time and flooding which we've never had before.I hope your house doesn't get any wetter or mud in it. Try to stay warm and dry....maybe something strong and hot!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Janice! Appreciated. Have a good Christmas xx
DeleteYUCK! thats all I have to say about mud and rain like that. Hope you get a few dry days somewhere soon.
