Clouds.

They say that when the seasons change, it can be foretold by the change in the clouds. Well yesterday, we had all four seasons in one day! The precursor to this event were these clouds.

They, there was more than one! Came over the farm, dropping hail, rain, snow earlier on! Then we got the sunshine and some heat!! Finally!

There is a heavy rain shower coming towards the two horses. Poor things, didnt know whether to sunbathe or wrap up!  Anyway, today is a lot calmer, with very few showers and at least no snow or hail. The grass is also on the turn, had to start using some two year old hay, its the last of our supply, have just enough for 17 days. Lets keep our fingers crossed, and everything else to be honest!

  1. We've started peering at the ground and doing our best Black Adder impressions "I see a nugget of purest green" - I've been feeding since September now and I must say its got old, really old. We are going to get a glorious summer though, aren't we?!! :-)

  2. Fingers, paws and hooves all crossed. You're weather sounds similar to Ohio. What we start the day with is rarely the same as we end it with.

The formation(s) packed a springtime wallop too!
I don't mind all that in a day... just take cover if ALL THE BIRDS GO SILENT! Those are far worse surprises, that have that dead calm before.

Yes, the turning has begun for you too...soon, my friend, you'll be sharing those forest rides and river crossing times again! I personally, can't wait!
    Hang in dude!
