I feel as though its been a fantastic day to day! Blogged, split logs, fed stock, although I do that each day anyway. But as the temperature dropped tonight, couldnt resist this shot across from the cottage! It really wasnt much at first, then it just seemed to burst! These woods are across for the cottage, about 50 yards, and today the damn pheasants were givin` it welly all day! Nothing but “skreks” all day!
This was taken a little after 3pm, the temp was already down to 18deg F. Thats about –8deg C to the more modern among you. Farrier was due today, but decided to cancel, more snow due tomorrow, so we`ll see.
Cheyenne, I could easily get worn out just watching you.
ReplyDeleteHi ol` friend! You were quick off the mark! I cant help but keep goin`I am often afraid that if I stop, that will be it!Lol! As if! But I do love the winter, especially at the moment, I may moan, but its still good! How you copin`!
ReplyDeleteThe day is still young here on the Left Coast. That ball of fire of yours has been hiding out here behind a scrabble of clouds. Makes it feel like winter, though it would feel more like a day in May to you, I'm sure. Don't work too hard.
ReplyDeleteWinter can be very good (when it's not bad)!
ReplyDeletehi Ron & Kate, It can be Kate! I wont Ron!...Trouble is I have to make a living!
ReplyDeleteThe sun is beautiful glowing through the trees. It's just too bad it was on it's way down. I hate these short days.
ReplyDeleteThe sun is amazing, see how eerie it made the trees look. Perfect scene for a spooky tale.
ReplyDeleteYou could be right Valerie! I feel a story coming on!
