I have been away. Too long, but I got terribly bored with this blog and after some consideration just left it alone. Sorry for that!
I have from time to time kept abreast of you all, and found it funny, interesting and intreguing all at the same time.
Its been a winding road for me, needing time to be myself, writing is so time consuming and to honest, I sometimes felt I was wasting my time. So where am I now? Planning some new adventure? We`ll see. This year has ben mapped out, full year of riding and time out, so if you still recieve my posts, Good on ya! If not, then no problem, we are expecting two Apaloosa foals this year both due on or around the 4th May, fingers crossed!
'Bout time we heard from you! Hope you do keep it up and make sure you post foal pics! As you know, I have joined the grey horse club now- the first quarter horse mare that I bought was a grey, and this will likely be the last one I buy, so I've come full circle.
ReplyDeleteHi Shirley! Great to hear from you, yes I saw the new addition, greys are the good ones!! I shall try to keep going, thanks!
DeleteGood to see you back! I've been the same, sometimes we just need to lie low for a while. Exciting news about the foals! I'd love to hear about that, which stallion etc. Enough for a whole load of posts there!
ReplyDeletethanks Denise, the stallions are Warrior of Saltcreek, and Saltcreek Apache, owned by Shiela and Brian Wilson of Wigton.
DeleteOh, I'm so glad to see you back? How are your other horses, the riding horses????
ReplyDeleteThey are all fine thanks, looking good after the winter off, will keep you all informed.
DeleteHope your plans all turn out great. Glad to see you back. Can't wait to see photos of the Apalossa, I just finished a novel of the old west where my hero rides an Apalossa, I have always been intreagued by them. Hope go get the book out by summer. Like you I have lots of plans for the next year but as the old saying goes, "Man plans, God laughs."So I have plans I hope to complete - keep rindin' with your back to the sun and your eyes along the skyline
ReplyDeleteThanks Neil, appreciated.
