  1. This is what I remember about Christmas as a boy - the tree in my grandmother's mouse on Christmas Eve as the clan gathered. Nice, thanks!

  2. Merry Christmas Ron, to you and yours! yes it reminded me too, I always remember the time between `55 and `65 those years for me when I look back, were the most non commercial, and seemingly honest times. I felt really privelidged to have known that time.
We had nothing, but everything we had meant something! People knew each other, and were kind to one another. A lost time. Sad, but thats how I remember it.

  4. I thank you RR! Its so brilliant looking forward to "the" morning! I always have a large Port, for to toast the Day in. Its become a ritual. However, when I looked back in my family history, my Great great grandfather, always made the family, toast in the Day, with a glass of Port!
But when I finish mine, its off with the dogs for a long walk, and back for eggs, bacon, "tattie" scones, and black pudding!

  10. Nice card, Cheyenne; I too think it was better back in the simpler days. The commercial hoopla around buying gifts is determined to destroy the real meaning of Christmas, which as a religious holiday is under attack. But thats a whole 'nother rant....
