The picture angle isnt clever! But the Mud? OMG! Plus she was shedding like mad. So this was a before shot Now this is an after..well an almost nearly there shot!
Not too far to go now! You can see her asking, “You`ve missed my feet! ..C`mon lets get a move on, have`nt got all day! I told him, when I grow up, I`m going to be a proper little madam!”
“Well look at her! You wouldnt recognise her with all that mud off! Oh! And those feet!…Makes you shudder, needs a pedicure! Told her so yesterday, but would she listen? Oh no! Too good for us she is!”
Oooh, what a filthy mare! Like how the dapples are coming out the more the winter coat comes off. Not warm enough here for a bath, by far - it's been stinking cold. But warmer weather on the weekend, so maybe some baths . . .
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty dapple grey! She looks like she is as enamored of mud as is my grey. Is it something about grey horses?
ReplyDeleteGracie looks like she had WAY too much fun in the mud!
ReplyDeleteYour brown mare has turned grey! Good work!
ReplyDeleteI've got a few dogs that could use a good washing with brush-up.
ReplyDeleteThanks all! Chris? No, I cant wash your dogs!!Lol
ReplyDeleteFunder: She has, but I`ve still got a bit to go!
Annette: Gracie loves Mud, The deeper the better!
Shoofly: All my Greys love Mud, the more the better!
Kate: The summer coat has gradually gotten more dappled as the years go on, I should have photo`d the lost hair!
Looking good! You worked for that!
ReplyDeleteTammy?, your damn right!Lol..I was wetter than a frog in spring! The sweat was dripping off me! Couldnt decide, which was worse, the excess hair floating in my face, or the splashes of mud! Anyway she was as good as gold!
ReplyDeleteNice that it's warm enough there that you can combat the mud with a good hosing!
ReplyDeleteThats true, but how long will it last?????Lol
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean spring is here?
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does `Ollie!
ReplyDeleteJust wondering why Gracie's mane is cut short. I remember when a roached mane was all the style here. That was a long while ago.
